Jan has the enviable title of Entertainment Secretary. She pretty much decides what we watch on television and what films we see. A short while ago she told me that she wanted to see the film Baby Driver, that it was a comedy and that she'd read good things about it. Lets just say that with another recommendation like that, she's going to lose her honorary position.
If you want to see a 'shoot em up' film with massive car chases and not much else then I highly recommend this film.
Also if anyone is interested in the position of Entertainment Secretary let me know because there may be a position coming up soon.
Oh Jan... I had you up on a pedestal too. In fairness I've read good reviews aswell. I've learned that when the newspaper reviewers in this country praise a film to the hilt, I pretty much know that I won't like it - with the opposite being true too!
ReplyDeleteI fell off the pedestal a long time ago, a result of living with Alex. Alex said the pedestal had collapsed anyway..........
ReplyDeleteI quite enjoyed Baby Driver, but it was way too noisy and I think the cinema had the sound turned right up. If Alex hadn't removed his hearing aids I don't know how he'd have coped - and I'd have been blamed even more!
