I was not impressed with Notre Dame and can't quite see what all the fuss is about. I thought that it was quite plain and somewhat grubby inside.
Still, it got everyone thinking, including Jan, who wondered out loud where Quasimodo was going to live.
This was further questioned when The Daily Mash came up with an answer yesterday.
Good one from the Daily Mash! Thank God you said that about the Notre Dame. I've never actually felt moved to visit it on the few occasions I've been in Paris. Old churches don't really do it for me. But I do admit that it looks rather beautiful from the outside when viewed from the Seine.
ReplyDeleteThe only church that took our collective breath away was Sagrada Familia. With the sun shining through the stained glass widows it was quite spectacular. Recommended.
