Strange how it is to break silly habits. Like when I look at a web page and then have to scroll back to the top before I shut the page. Or point the remote at the new sky box which now operates using Bluetooth. That is so difficult!
Anyway we went to see The Irishman the other night and both really enjoyed it. A film about 'our time' well acted but just a little too long.
Looking forward to seeing it on Netflix this week!
ReplyDeleteIs your new Sky box a Q box? We upgraded earlier this year and we like it, but it took us quite a few weeks to get used to it as some operations seemed needlessly more complicated than the old "HD" box.
Yes it's a Q box. I agree it's better generally but it's also too complicated. Or are we getting a bit too old?
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely complicated. But the age thing is probably at least partly to blame! Are you aware of the voice control on the right side face of the remote? It's very handy for saying "skip forward four minutes" when you have taped something which has advertisements.
ReplyDeleteI am aware of the voice control but only use it for searching. I had never thought of getting it to fast forward, thank you.
