We were in IKEA recently, I can't remember why exactly but I said to Jan how come they are still selling stuff. We first visited IKEA in France in 2002 and every time we visit one, admittedly not very often, they are full of people and this one seemed busier than normal. Hasn't everyone got everything they need from the store? How come it's so busy?
Reading this today made me realise that maybe there was something in what I said.
I've always considered myself abnormal to be honest as I don't get IKEA at all and my only 2 visits were in California in the 90's. I think it stems from having to follow the maze around the store even if you only popped in for a tea spoon.
ReplyDeleteApart from getting the odd thing I see it as enforced exercise. We were both knackered at the end.
