Yorkshire Trading
My fastidious mother (actually her home help) uses liquid soda on her floors. Don't ask me why, but she likes it. The only place I can find it is at Yorkshire Trading in Ripon. I had to pop in today to get something from Booths (they had loads of toilet rolls by the way) so decided to take the short walk to YT to see if they were open. It was and nobody buying stuff.
I said to the lady when paying that I was a little surprised that they were open. Don't worry lad (it's a long time since I've been called lad) she said, if they tell us to close I'll just start selling food or at least bags of crisps.
True Yorkshire grit.

That's the spirit! Only in Yorkshire, not like so soft southerners...
ReplyDeleteWatch it, Craig! I'm a soft Southerner, but Alex will no doubt tell you I'm as tough as old boots.
ReplyDeleteTo you and Clive, best wishes, stay in touch and keep safe.
Warning taken Jan from a hard as nails Scot (if only)! We're keeping a low profile of course as I'm sure you both are. You two take care as well.
