If it comes to a choice between the films La La Land and Denial, Denial wins hands down. I so enjoyed the latter which was a harrowing film compared to the lightweight and almost inconsequential La La.
I did not follow the events when they happened first time around so the film was 'new' in that sense.
The only other time that I had seen the cinema audience stunned into inaction at the end of the film was when I went to see Schindler's List. Go see it.
