God I hate Aldi. Well, not quite true, because everything we buy from them we like. It's just that I popped out to the garden centre to buy a garden fork because I wanted to fork the lawn (yes I spelt that right.)
We visited Aldi a few days later and there was an identical fork at half the price. Bugger.
At the risk of sounding like a snob (if the cap fits and all that), I like Aldi for a few things but can't do our big shop there. I only buy our chicken from Aldi as I've found their chicken breasts to be the best available and also well priced. I also really like their fruit and veg. But oh, the check out process leaves me cold.
ReplyDeleteWe have similar sentiments. A lot of their stuff seems to be really good value but I do wonder if suppliers are getting stuffed in the process.
